The following is a list of items Georgia College Housing recommends you have to start the school year.  Many of these items are available through this website and all available items are eligible for free shipping.

High Efficiency (HE) laundry detergent and fabric softener 
Push pins to hang posters
Personal paperwork (Social Security card, copies of prescriptions and insurance cards) 
Wastebasket and trash bags
Surge protector  
Under bed storage boxes
Shower curtain and rings (not provided by University Housing)
